The weather for Saturday shows a possibility of light rain in the morning but less likely in the afternoon. The farm is open rain or shine. Sunday will start out cold so dress warmly. You’ll definitely want a cup of hot apple cider!
Pick your own varieties still available: Rome, Red Delicious, Granny Smith, Pink Lady with a limited amount of Blushing Gold, Stayman and Golden Delicious. We can’t say how long each variety will be available since it all depends on how many people come and pick.
Prepicked apples in the Apple House now are Fuji, Pink Lady, Granny Smith.
Pick your own pumpkins are in the patch ready for your visit.
Ugly Pig BBQ will be at the farm Saturday and Sunday serving up some mighty good food. They are very popular with our guests, so go by and visit with the Dudas family. They are real friendly folks!
Get your apple cider and pumpkin donuts, apple fritters, fried apple pies, hot apple cider as well as apple cider slushies at the Apple House.
To enjoy the full farm experience you can:
- take a wagon ride around the farm. The wagon leaves on the hour starting at 10 ($4 for over 3 years old).
- navigate our five acre Enjoy NC Apples corn maze. $3 for 12 years and under, over 12 – $5.
- try your skill at hitting targets shooting apples with our apple cannons: $5 for bucket of 10 apples.
Fun farm t-shirts are going fast. This weekend you might need a long sleeve one or a hoodie!
The farm is open seven days a week through October. Saturday 8-6, Sunday 10-6, Monday – Thursday 8-5:30, Friday 8-6. Admission is free.

Hillcrest Orchard is gearing up for a great weekend. The rain is over, the sun will be shining and a touch of fall is in the air, perfect apple picking weather.
Pick your own apples available this weekend: Red and Golden Delicious, Blushing Gold, Stayman, Rome, Pink Lady, Granny Smith and a limited supply of Arkansas Black.
The pick your own pumpkin patch has lots of great pumpkins for you to choose.
Ugly Pig BBQ is back this weekend. Plan to join them for lunch. They are located beside the green barn and next to the picnic area. You can use your credit card.
Satisfy your sweet tooth with apple cider and pumpkin donuts, apple pies, apple fritters, fudge, apple cider slushies, and hot apple cider.
All the fun farm activities will be in full swing: apple cannon, five acre corn maze, and wagon rides around the farm.
Take home fresh local cabbage and SC sweet potatoes.
