The farm is now closed for the 2018 season.
Hope you will visit us in 2019.
Thank you for a great year!
It’s looking like another great weekend on the farm. Come spend the day with us. Admission is free.
Start the day by taking a leisurely walk to pick crisp and juicy apples right from the tree. Ultra Gold, Jonagold, Mutsu, and Early Fuji are ready to pick. Other varieties have been tested and are not quite ready.
PYO apples range in price from $3 to $30 depending on quantity.
Next, you’ll want to sit and relax with a refreshing cold apple cider slushie and of course you will need a snack. Apple cider and pumpkin donuts, apple fritters, fried apple pies, caramel apples, and assorted flavor of fudges are a few of the choices.
On to the next adventure you can take aim at the targets with the apple cannons and maybe try the 5-acre corn maze.
Now you are really hungry so…Ugly Pig BBQ will be here Saturday and Sunday serving up some mighty fine eats. Enjoy your lunch beside the playground where the children can play.
After lunch, it’s time for dessert so back to the Apple House for a treat.
As you buy your tasty goodies you’ll see the fun farm t-shirts hanging and since you’re having such a fantastic time, you’ll have to get one to remember your fun farm experience.
The whole Farm Hand family is back this weekend after hosting a booth at the NC Apple Festival last weekend.
You can pay with credit card if you like just not American Express.
Dogs may come with you to the orchard on a leash at all times. Your pooch can’t come in the Apple House and cleaning up after them and monitoring their behavior is a must as a responsible pet owner.
Hours: Friday and Saturday: 8-6, Sunday: 10-6
Can’t make it on the weekend? The farm is open Monday -Thursday: 8-5:30 for apple picking.
Farmer Mike has a bin of deer apples for sale. If interested see him.
Hope to see you at the farm.
