Gearing Up for the 2017 Harvest Season

Stepp’s Hillcrest Orchard is looking forward to a great 2017 season.

The opening date has not been set. We will make a decision the first of August. It will probably be around the middle of August depending on the maturity of the early apples.  An email will be sent when the date is set.

Apples are growing and getting good size due to the abundance of rain. Mutsu apples are shown in the picture.

Grapes are beginning to turn purple and need more sun to reach the succulent flavor you love.

Pumpkins are growing, too. The plants are blooming and even some small green pumpkins are visible.  Several varieties have been planted and we hope to begin picking the end of September.

The Stepp family is excited about the 2017 fall harvest season and can’t wait to see you and your family at the farm.
